Our Story
The power of giving is extraordinary and there’s no better feeling than giving from the heart to improve the lives of others. At the One Voice Foundation, we strive to encourage and connect generous Christian benefactors with those in our community who are in need. Our foundation aims to secure financial resources by partnering with individual and family donors, as well as ministry groups and financial advisors. In turn, we promise good Christian stewardship, ensuring that donor funds are awarded to nonprofit organizations in the community.
Established in 2017, the One Voice Foundation launched as a result of two significant gifts. The first, a one-million-dollar endowed gift from the late Cecilia Bennett, MD, has been designated to benefit the elderly with limited financial resources, specifically supporting their healthcare needs. As a result, One Voice Foundation granted awards to Compassion Health Toledo and That Neighborhood Free Clinic.
The second, a charitable remainder trust gift from the late Bill and Bonnie Kinschner to support and further the work of the Foundation. Kinschner daughters tell of the depth and genuineness of their parent’s compassion and concern for others, and fully appreciate seeing the impact of their parent’s faith, selflessness and joyful giving. These major gifts represent the cornerstone of One Voice Foundation’s desire to be a catalyst and conduit for biblical generosity and stewardship in our community, meeting people’s basic needs, while also offering the heart of the transformative love of God.
